Don’t Stir Up Trouble

“I might go stir crazy without you!“

Looks like your Scout Elf has been busy in the kitchen again! While home for a quick North Pole visit, they decided to whip up a little something special and left behind a sweet message to make you smile.

This easy, mess-free Elf on the Shelf® idea brings a touch of laughter to chilly Canadian mornings, especially when your little ones spot their elf perched beside a glass of colourful milk or cocoa.

Materials:

  • Spoon, straw or peppermint stick for stirring
  • Jar or glass
  • Optional: milk, hot chocolate, smoothie mix or food colouring

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf climbed up onto the kitchen counter, poured a splash of milk (or cocoa!) into a glass, and began stirring with their trusty spoon or peppermint stick.
  2. They might have experimented with colourful milk, whipped up a chocolatey drink, or just enjoyed a little kitchen fun before heading back to the North Pole.
  3. To top it off, they left a playful note that reads: “Don’t stir up trouble while I’m away!”
